Note
John Flaws (1880) had moved to Liverpool with his father John and mother Margaret Colvin Leask. His sister Mary had also moved to Liverpool; in 1891 She was a domestic servant for the Allman family, 17 Alexander Drive, Toxteth Park; and in 1898 had married John Rickart. In 1901 John was living with his sister and brother-in-law in Chapel House, South Hill Road, Toxteth Park. John Rickart,also a Scotsman, was a gardener; John Flaws was a cabinet maker.
