John’s maternal family tree - narrative

Willa was born,about 1919..Ethel had met one of Richards army friends,who came to see her after the war to tell her how Richard had died. they became close and marriage was on the cards.However,he had suffered bad head wounds in the war and was prone to violent rages.His parents had him certified and locked away,but before that happened he acknowledged Willa was his Daughter.I think his name was on the birth certificate,
but I am not sure.What happened after that I do not know.Willa never forgave her Mother because she was a Bastard,a bit unfair but thats families for you.Willa tried to trace her Father,just before the last war.His parents were still alive and he had brothers and sisters,she was told in no uncertain terms,to go away and don't come back.
