Note

Geoffrey Bates McIntosh: As Geoffrey Bates Prussia, attended Dulwich College from 1927 to 1930. Previously attended Grays School, Essex.
At some time changed name to McIntosh from Prussia along with his father HB Prussia-McIntosh, possibly when "adopted" by Mary's grand-parents Allan and Hettie. Possibly in 1931 when his father changed his name, but Eric McIntosh believed 1927. Came back to UK in 1920.
Dennis and Geoffrey had 6th birthday in train from Brixham (devon) to S London (Eric Mc)

On 12 Sep 1949 Geoffrey applied for British citizenship having lived in the UK since 1920 and having been born in British India (in 1949 Pakistan). In the application he writes "I am potentially a citizen of Pakistan or Eire, my grandfather having been born in Cork".

The family have assumed that this referred to HB Prussia's father; but what if it applied to the man who he would have grown up to know as his grandfather, J Lowrie?
